Month 5

We had our 20 weeks ultrasound, and confirmed that baby is a boy. He is also now due on June 7, not June 14- which is John's birthday. Everything looked good, and we even watched him opening and closing his mouth. We did not get a good shot at his face, as he kept covering it.

The first 5 months

Well things started out rough since we had just had a ruptured ectopic in July 08. But after an agonozing first few weeks, we saw baby's heart beating on ultrasound. We were worried about another loss, so were relieved when we made it to 12 weeks.
At 13 weeks, we found out that we were carrying a little boy. Of course, what more could we expect right! Ben had been calling the baby "pop star" after a commercial he saw, but after we found out he was a boy, he quickly changed the name to "pop star Jo Jo" after his favorite new movie- Horton Hears a Who. So baby will be named Joseph.
Nothing really out of the ordinary happen the first few months, except that I was not feeling movement. Then I found out I have an anterior placenta, meaning that the placents formed in the front of the tummy, not in the back. I am just now feeling him, at 20 weeks.
